Like all Ekadashi, Shravan putrada Ekadashi is also dedicated to Lord Vishnu and this Ekadashi vrat is observed by husband and wife together, in order to be blessed with a son. This day is particularly propitious for Vaishnavas, who are the followers of Vishnu.
