Udham Singh, a Sikh revolutionary, gets deeply affected by the Jallianwala Bagh massacre and decides to avenge the lives of the people who died.
Udham Singh became a revolutionary at an early stage of life and toured several countries to serve the purpose of his life. He traveled to Nairobi in the year 1921 and to Africa in the year 1920 and came back to India in the year 1924. Singh spent several years in revolutionary activities.
A 40-year-old Indian man featured himself like an Englishman, pulled out a revolver, and fired 6 rounds into a gathering. O’Dwyer was shot twice and died on the spot. Udham Singh then fired Lord Zetland and was seriously injured. Udham Singh did not try escaping from the crowd and was arrested on the spot immediately. This event occurred on 13 March 1940.
