Jauljibi Mela played an important role in the trade between the Tibet and the Terai regions of Uttrakhand. The locals sold their regional clothing and carpets along with deer musk, and ayurvedic medicines. The traders from Nepal brought honey, butter, asafoetida, shilajit, etc.
